The Future: New Lawyers Acquired by GPA

Gavin Parsons and Associates are pleased to announce the addition of Ms Joanna Yu and Mr Ryan Owens to the team.

Joanna joined the practice as an experienced lawyer earlier this year. She was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2016.

Joanna holds a double degree in Commerce and Law from the University of New South Wales. Joanna previously worked in a boutique law firm and acted for a wide range of clientele. Having experience in broad areas of law including commercial advisory, contract law, commercial litigation, employment law, family law, and criminal law, Joanna understands the value of taking a commercial approach and the complexities of a client’s concerns.

Ryan joined the practice in July of this year. He was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2013 and has significant experience in a wide range of matters, including civil and commercial litigation, employment law and estate and succession planning.

Prior to joining us, Ryan spent several years with a boutique firm in Port Macquarie working with a diverse range of clients before moving to the firm’s Sydney office in 2016. Ryan understands the importance of effective communication with a client in achieving their desired results.
