Applications for the City of Sydney’s special COVID-19 relief grants, are about to close!
There has been substantial publicity and media regarding the NSW Government’s $10,000 Small Business Grant, however, there has unfortunately been much less publicity and media attention regarding COVID-19 related grants and financial assistance from the City of Sydney and local Councils.
Introduced to help deal with the devastating impact of COVID-19, the City of Sydney Small Business Grant provides grants of $10,000 for small, for-profit businesses located in the City of Sydney area, with an annual turnover of less than $10 million and employing between 1 and 19 full-time staff.
The Small Business Grant covers costs associated with changes to operating models caused by the pandemic, dealing with the adjustment to e-commerce, as well as training and development for businesses. Small businesses, sole traders and not-for-profit organisations may also be eligible for other City of Sydney special COVID-19 relief grants such as:
